• Major Roguelikes: These Roguelikes have been running for a long time now, and still have a decent fan-base
• Ancient Roguelikes: They are the pillars over which the new games have risen. Although some may still have a small following, they are mostly remembered with nostalgy.
• Running Roguelikes: The future of the genre, these games have reached an stable stage and have an evergrowing community around.
• Production Stage Roguelikes: Games that have reached maturity but aren’t still followed up massively.
• In-Dev Roguelikes: While playable, these games still lack the polish to be in production stage.
• Alpha Roguelike Projects: Commonly engines made to power up the ideas of the developer, but without too much content or gameplay.
• Pre-production Roguelike Projects: No coding has started but the premise looks good :)
• Dead Roguelikes: We shall forever remember them
